I think maybe the update is not over.
I have been seeing some drop to zero and then return.

Nothing to worry about fellas. Many, many BIG sites also seem to have dropped to zero also (check amazon!). I am sure it is just temporary. This update isn't over, and for the that matter, doesn't really seem like a "real" PR update. Just relax. I bet you see your old PR back within a day or two.

Ask is still at PR2 :), PR0 I think is from previous update still showing on some DC.
Now we have PR2 homepage and PR4 second categories LOL.
PR is more worthless everyday, I have seen PR5 on sites with less than a month, and PR0 on sites on 2 updates like directorydump.com, if you think Alexa is bad just take a look at PR.

I couldn’t care less about PR, I have Quality, I have links, I have unique content, I have traffic, I have submissions :).

eWebPages.org Directory homepage went up one to PR5 and only 2 top level categories are displaying any PR - Internet and Shopping are PR4.

In other "PR0" categories such as Web Directories, individual listing details pages are PR4 such as the listing for Alive Directory.

Then there's detail listings 4 levels deep (in "PR0" categories) with PR3 like the listing for SEOMoz SEO Tools.

Then there's newer listings (Dec12) with PR5 - check out the detail listing page for Directory Dump

    Go figure.

    I agree with ! Ask ! ;)

The PR for the directories software I use seems to have gone up no problem in a couple of months on three sites.

Then, it's not the most successful software in terms of sales and still might go down - although the same software was used for 2 general directories and one free stuff at the same time and the free stuff gets PR4 on all datacentres, so far, the main general directory PR 3 and the one that I never even bothered promoting on a large scale and didn't submit to barely any directories has PR2. Doubt that will change, whatever anyone says.

Entireweb Directory running on PHPLD went from PR3 to PR4.
So I think PHPLD is not a problem

Yep I agree Derek. This PR update is by far the biggest botch up the big G has put into existence.

Seems one of my oldest directories (1.25 yrs) is showing pr0 right now...yes, PR is seeming worthless these days and a lot of goof-ups.

Oh brother!... That one is back to normal now (PR3)...but I hoped that it'd increase (lots of promo and seo done on it)... G is behaving pathetically these days. A more than 1 yr old active domain should get a PR4 normally!

Update : on livePR if you get cached:No, then your PR is still not settled.

Yes, I'm a little confused by google too.
If you look at the sites that have pr 0, they don't seem to be penalized in any other way, and often they seem to be getting pr slowly like yours agnivo. I don't see any reason to be afraid at this point.
My sites are doing find (ex. businessplexus.com)

David, your observation is right. Some domains (clean at start) seem to gain PR very slowly and not as the webmaster expects...any secret?
