its happening to most of us...even some of the very niche sites like mine. I sometimes gets huge payout and then other day it goes down like a rollercosta.

Lets analyse the situation till 15th to come to some conclusion...but i can see that some ads have completely disappeared from my blog..maybe advertisers are still setting their new year budgets and hopefully we can see some high paying ads pretty soon

same here... earning and ctr drops more than 50%! I get 0,01 clicks at related ads, that's not normal.. it happend since the day before yesterday. The days before I was on my top.

Will this change? Because i cannot pay my server bills with just a tiny revenue i get from adsense now

My earnings on one of big content sites went also down to 60 percent less than before Christmas.
So, I was also wandering what is going on. I get same amount of clicks, but 50-60% less payout.

I went down as well, but because of CTR, visitors are quite the same. Need to work on it....

It seems like an extreme drop for me.

Do you change something in your site?
Do you noticed any drop in your PageRank?
Any change on how many pages of your site in Google Index Results?

I have several websites and no, I didn't change anything drastically.

Not all of my websites have a pagerank.

And no, I don't see less pages in the Google Index Results.

Like I said, I'm getting just as many visitors, just as many clicks...just less money for the clicks.

I have seen a drop in earnings as well. A very significant drop. I earn half of what I used to make 3 months ago.

    Thinking doesn't hurt...
Have you heard of pagerank update running now?
And how do you think? What webmasters do all day long?
They're checkin' and checkin' and checkin' on all available DCs...
No time and sense to look for ads now.

And I will tell you what to do.
    It's time for 50% sale.
Just give me all those URLs...

    :p
