Great list! I use a LOT from this thread, but I didn't see Jeromes Keywords plugin or the Tag Cloud Plugin. I kinda dig both of those. :)

    Hello,

Here are some of my favorites.

Hashcash Client-side javascript blocks all spam bots. XHTML 1.1 compliant

Star Rating for Reviews Insert inline rating stars within your posts based on the score you assign

Singular Removes the unique suffix from similarly named post slugs

Redirect Old Slugs Allows you to change your post slugs without breaking the old ones (which will redirect to the new one!

Permalink Redirect This plugin ensures that pages and entries are always accessed via the permalink. Otherwise, a 301 redirect will be issued.

Now Reading Allows you to display the books you’re reading, have read recently and plan to read, with cover art fetched automatically from Amazon.

Favicon Head Favicon Head adds meta tags in the head of every page, specifying the location of your blog’s favicon.ico

    Good Luck

I truly hate contributing to any form of repetition; however, I would absolutely adore a plugin of this kind as well. *Fingers Crossed*

WordPress is just software used to create the blogs. They do not actually host them. And, of course Adsense is allowed on a WordPress blog.

One way you could do this is by asking the readers to register on your blog and then you give them a user level. There's a user level where they can only submit post but their post must be approved by someone with a higher user level before it will be published on the blog. Not sure which user level is it though.

All my other faves have been mentioned already far so I'll just add Category Order 1.9.5 (at the foot of the page): it re-orders the categories :)
