The Pagerank (PR) Thread

i am seeing no changes in pagerank at all, but i am in the uk so dont no if this makes any difference to what datacenters i am being served from.

i checked the backlinks of my new site http://www.webmastersroom.com earlier which i started in october and i was showed 447 google backlinks, however now when i check i get 0? can someone confirm what they see for my site please

If your site shows backlinks in Google, instead of coming up at 0 results as it always used to, does that mean google has already allocated your sites PR?

with an alexa of 35K, Im pretty sure you should see something..that is impressive if legit/not inflated by you.

 

Well I have just checked and yes the update is under way. I have one site www.smbgames.com which was not even around at the last update and has always showed PR0 is now showing a PR5 on all but 6 datacenters and also no shows 318 backlinks in google.

Another site I checked www.amyspacelayout.net still shows no PR yet but now shows 319 backlinks in google where it previously had none.

Finally a third site I have checked which previously had no backlinks in Google now shows 179 backlinks in google.

Thats 3 for 3 all with changes

 

the first one sounds great, i wonder why i got backlinks but showing nothing on all datacenters, it mus be something todo with location, anyone else had results in the uk. my site has been going since end of october

Backlinks have been reverted back to the old ones and so has it's PR. Something is fishy there.

 

My site, www.articleonramp.com, is getting PR for the first time. Starting last night the DCs were showing a PR4, as of this late afternoon, they all are.

w00t for PR!

 

Just started seeing PR updates this afternoon. PR 1 to 3 so far.

 

Still no PR changes on any of my sites. Meh, why do mine take such a long time? Oh well, back to the virtue of patience eh?

 

Will anyone believe one domain purchased on Dec 16th with 0 Backlinks has got a PR5 with internal pages also PR4

And no one ever used it before too cos the name was too crap and locally targetted

 

So it wasn't an expired domain? I think the owner of such a domain would consider themselves fortunate.

lol i should have purchased tons of domains that very day
though iam still confused how it got the PR, its a wordpress blog and hence all pages have PR, with categories too

 

You must have links you don't know about.

I track every link - Links puchased and natural links.
This site is damn new has very less content say 10 articles, no incomming link and now a strong PR5
Just checked the Page strength and its - 3/10
