DMOZ listing time

Hi

I submitted my site to DMOZ ages ago and everytime I go there I can't locate the site submission. Is there a way to find out that it is being reviewed or queued up? I've been told not to submit it more than once.

 

DMOZ is pretty much dead..

 

Right now the site suggestions are turned off, so you can't resuggest now anyway. There is no timeframe for a review and no guarantee that after review the site would be included. When site suggestions are turned back on, resuggesting it once to make sure its waiting in the correct category won't have any ill effects.

 

Well, if your site is listed for years you can of course resubmit it. But, for the time being you can not even resubmit.

 

did you try redirect old url to new url ? if i were you , i prefer this

 

Dmoz is not dead. It is up for evaluation by its current owners, but it is most certainly NOT dead.

 

Nope, I just checked, it might be your internet connection?

Couldn't resist that one sorry, they ain't dead but thier credability for what I read is all but.

Thanks for your feedback. The jury is out for me on this one. I'm sure DMOZ doesn't have as much weight with the search engines anymore, but I'm sure the human evaluation factor would have to have an influence.
