You are going well, not only template, also some posts were interesting to me. Keep on good work! But, running AdSense on SEO blog.. isn't it dangerous? SEOs know what invalid clicks are . So, somebody might try to ban you. Maybe I'm just anxious, but ...
How do you think I could successfully monetize this blog? I don't want to fill it with ads, and as a result I only have one blended AdSense ad unit at the bottom of each blog post.
On my blog, I only do ads about every three or four entries...that way they are not everywhere, but yet they are still visible. I really like your template, where did you get that?
Don't worry about ads at this point. Focus on building good quality content, join MyBlogLog, post a few ezinearticles.com and let the viral effect do its thing. Few tips - * Add some personal touch. Blog readers love to read about the person behind the blog. Who are you, why did you drop out (we know that part), what exactly are you doing other than this blog to make a living, what are your hobbies, why did you drop out, what do you excel in or just do better than anybody else, what's your nickname, what blogs do you yourself read etc. * Pictures - a picture is worth a 1000 words. Blog readers love to see galleries of pictures that provide a glimpse into your life. Don't be embarrased. An image of you opening your first Google check for $100 with a big smile on your face, although not the most impressive thing in the world, it's great link bait * Link bait. Learn it. Use it. This skill will be one of the most important skills to master in your early days of community building. You're already in the right direction name dropping Matt Cutts * All blogs provide quality content. What's your key differentiator? Maybe an SEO tool, maybe an offer to review the visitor's site for free and provide tips. Offer something that no one else is offering. * Freshness. You're doing great with 4 posts on your first day. Keep it going. Make it a habbit to post something of interest on regular intervals. Although you may not realize it at first, your community relies on you. It's all about consistency. Keep your post intervals frequent and your community will continue giving you love * Blogrolls. Interact with other bloggers and get them to include a link to your blog from their (more recognized, more trafficed) site
I like the short posts with summaries. Monetization won't work with you're just starting out .. maybe start after you've got more posts/content. Keep up the good work!
