let's just say - the FedEx slogan....when it absolutely has to be there overnight - use FedEx...is no lie!!!

moreover did the employees take advantage of the situation?
they could have had those bananas unpacked and in the display case in record time!!!

 

They all have their goods and bads. I deal with UPS daily, USPS daily, FEDEX usually 1-2 times a week, even some smaller carriers such as the old DHL, etc.

FEDEX is not always 'on time' I just had a package coming to me, an affiliate check. I get them overnighted which is mighty nice of the program to send them to me that way. Anyways I've been getting them this way for about a year or more. Normal driver was on vacation, so instead of getting it overnighted it took almost 2 weeks until the normal person was off of vacation!!!!! The 'sub' just put the package off to the side, must have been a bit too difficult to deliver or something

I have one FedEx horror story as well but they burned me a lot less per packaga than the Brownies

Nah, I saw a real boring documentary a few years ago about one of thier employees gettin lost on a desert island, they did a dramatic reconstruction using Tom Hanks, so not always overnight, theres always the possibility that it could take 5 years odd and a whole load of fish / crabs and some strange behaviour using a football ..... + some rafts and a lot of doing your business in wholes that you will inevitably fall asleep on at some point
