Very Nice, most blogger started blogging as a hobby but when they know adsense, chitika and other money generators, the hobby became a ways of living.

I kind of agree with you, but I think the majority of people who start after reading this type of story, would soon realise it actually takes some work on their part, and will give up.

This type of story can be nice motivation to some of the newer/lower earners on here.

    Cheers qwestcommunications!

Well, it sounds great, but $45,000... I dunno, if I was that guy I'd buy me four years in a good university and after that, earn twice as much.

175,000 new blogs per day. I never thought it would be that much!

Good story and even more surprising because it's a blog and not a 'real' website. But it shows that a good, well executed idea, in the right niche - combined with good, original content is the best way to be successful..

Think about his expenses - $45k is not that much. To be honest, I would be a little disappointed still. But then, I always like to aim high. :)

It will motivate new bloggers. Hardwork and execution are important. It is a long term process.

why the hell would someone be passionate about GPS systems??

Make himself sound good instead of writing " i created a website to make money from adsense"

What are his expenses? I fail to see what would cost him much for this site.

I think success stories like this will only increase more and more as consumers realize that online reviews and shopping are the way of the future for low prices and informed purchasing decisions.

Exactly, what expenses could he have right now other than the web hosting? I'm pretty sure that being one of the top "gps" blogs around, companies send him free stuff to review.

Looks like his built a reputation. I know that a lot of companies are now seriously ken on having their products blogged because of the viral marketing effect that it can have, espcecially when it gets picked up by other blogs, etc. Its like having your product exposed to hundreds of thousand of people, if not millions, ehich may be the case on very popular blogs.
