    Hi, anyone here could help me to install Youtube Clone on my shared DREAMHOST?

    I need the following modules installed on DREAMHOST

    1. FFmpeg
    2. FFmpeg-PHP
    3. Mplayer + Mencoder
    4. flv2tool
    5. LAME MP3 Encoder
    6. Libogg + Libvorbis

    You cant dob this on shared hosting you must have root/vps/dedicated server.

    I saw some one wrote the instructions to show how they successfully installed, but the steps confused me...

    If someone has written instructions to complete this on a DreamHost shared server please forward the link and I would be happy to take a look at it to determine if it can be completed. Although at this time I have to agree with donthate in stating you would need root access vis a shell such as SSH.

    I was unaware DH was providing shell access. Knowing this I would be happy to bid for the work if you still require assistance. Before we can start you will require to contact DH and have them enable shell access on your account.

    I have successfully set this up for a number of clients recently and can do this for you. My website www.netbrix.net also has a howto on getting this to work in case you want to try on your own. I charge a nominal fees for setting this up.
