Anyone care to guess how much business is done in terms of link sales, hiring services, selling links etc etc per day on DP?

I would image about $100000 passes between paypal accounts of the users within a typical 24hr period, but I have no stats to back that up, just guess work.

Hmmm, $100000 seems a bit steep, I would say its in the $XXXX-$XXXXX range myself

It depends... New deals or all the deals that were ever started on DP. Because every day i have transactions taking place that were 1s started here on DP even if im not around selling or buying.

    Well,

I don't think its a big sum, cos most of the deals here are small ones.

Agreed -- I'd put it at the low to middle end of that scale...10k-50k...

I'm talking about money changing hands from DP member to DP member each day. I know I can often spend over $2000 in a day on here on various promotional activities. I wouldn't be suprised to see some bigger players spending that and quite a bit more.

    I think it's $1,000 - $3,000. There's are no big transactions here in DP.

I think sitepoint would have much larger numbers.
I'd say 10-20 grand on some days for DP

I would say its high xx,xxx to low 100,xxx per day

Thats including deals made in PMs and such. Theres a lot of money changing hands..

I'd say site point is a bit larger because it has more features for large sellers, and the market on DP is just an add-on really.

I've not come across Sitepoint before, just checked them out and the marketplace here at DP looks much more active. Doubt there is more business being there than here at Digitalpoint
