Thats correct, it would be launched in Asia in 2008. I would get it from US as soon as its launched there.

no, it will sync with iTunes, just like an iPod and they're not just competing with Nokia now, now they're competing with every mobile maker, every MP3 player, Blackberry, every PDA, etc
Apple isn't competing with anybody - NOBODY has anything even REMOTELY this incredible. When you realize that the so-called "smartphones" are already in the 300 dollar range and this is also a decent iPod - this is going to blow the door wide open on what used to be a cell market - this is the ultimate device for portable digital media and connectivity. wow. I want mine. Bad.
Exactly. The past pocket PC I bought was like $600 or so. I was watching On the Money on CNBC last night as I normally do and they were talking about the high price. But, the target really isn't kids. I'm sure it will come down in price in the coming 1-2 years, but I'm not waiting that long. Leave it to Apple to bust through the crappy products and produce something that's advanced.
Apple has just annouced iPhone (on market from June 2007) ... it looks so amazing... really admire Apple for their all cool products... will save $599 to buy one, take a look if you like URL : www.thefamous.info/?news_id=149 --------------------- --------------------- URL : www.thefamous.info/?news_id=149 have fun guys
$599 for a phone? It will be a cold day in hell before I buy it, and I can afford it. Impractical technlogy..........I'm happy with my $25 Nokia 1100. I don't care about all the features of the IPhone.........a phone is designed for communication. They're basically charging hundreds of dollars for a phone that acts as a bunch of different things.
$599 sounds a little ridiculous ... I was way excited until I heard the price. Plus, only 8GB for that price? Maybe Verizon will offer it for $29.99 with 2 year contract
$600 is typical for new phones from big companies. It will go down to $400 after two months it's been out and free after rebate after a year or two.. Take Razr for example. It was $400 when it came out, now they give you $50 back if you buy it with a contract.
but i can't see how they claim this will revolutionize the industry and how it is five years ahead of other cellphones in technology
