To be quite honest I dont see why I need extra teeth at the age of 22. Ive done fine without them until now and Im sure I could have survived without them! Now they are coming through and giving me hell. Ive tried painkillers and they dont work because its more my gums hurting. Someone suggested a drop of clove oil. Any other tips? They are driving me crazy.
They were coming in and hurting a bit, but seem to have calmed down. I need to have a visit with the dentist to get these things removed.
teething @ 22...that ain't right. I had mine out a LONG time ago, wife did only 3 weeks ago! not sure what could curb your pain though sorry good luck!
Im not sure if I have to have them removed yet. My mum did because she didnt have enough room in her mouth. I remember she looked like tweety bird when she got out she was so swollen.
go get them cut out..then no more pain and some nifty holes in the back of your mouth...not to mention the rush you get while high on laughing gas.
A friend of mine had his wisdom tooth @ the age of 28. The dentist had to slice his gums to give room to the new tooth. I hope that's not the case for you.
how funny I went to find an old thread and came across a thread in which might be of interest to you but in the process there is a post by me(#7 in link) for the very thread I was searching for to begin with!!! anyway, this one might contain some tips for pain: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=180667
get rid of them. I'm 26 now. I had braces and paid $5800 for my braces a while ago. my wisdom teeth started coming out. i ignored them. and now it misaligned my teeth
It is because after the age of 22 your teeth start falling out so you will need every extra resource you can get, well until you end up being fed mushy peas at an old peoples home. The thing about teeth is that there are attached to raw nerves so all the drugs in the world probably wouldnt help. If you suffer from pain then live with it (honestly) until it goes away. Dont get them removed unless you really need to, they are there for a reason.
Actually no... Impacted and semi impacted wisdom have always indication to extraction to prevent other complication. If it hurts then no doubt about it, go to your dentist and extract them
I still have one coming out and another of mine was almost 6 months ago. I didn't feel that much pain nor do I am feeling right now. Maybe mine are not good wisdom teeth
If they are not impacted than the pain should pass in a month or so, you just have to drug yourself up for a month. If you are impacted then the ONLY way to get rid of the pain is to have the operation to have them removed. With impacted wisdom teeth, you can be pain free for 6 months or a year, but it will ALWAYS come back. You'll also get infections from the teeth that the wisdom teeth are impacting with. Good luck!
Use Maswak {Muslim are useing it(its a small piece of diffrent trees)} In my experience that was really good thing.
I had my upper wisdom teeth removed at my dentist after a filling, minor freezing good enough. However, he tells me the bottom ones won't be so easy. None the less, they're useless, if you can afford it and you have time to make the arrangements, get em out.
I think Im going to have to but theres only one corner through on each. Mum had to get hers removed because she didnt have enough room in her mouth. Trust me to get her bloody mouth and not dads. It just feels like every tooth is sore now so Im on the painkillers and Ive got numbing mouthwash.
