The Pagerank (PR) Thread

The backlinks number that Google reports is meaningless - just ignore it - don't spend any more mental energy wondering why it went down. Why Google displays the backlinks numbers the way they do - only Google can explain why and they are not talking.

 

Yeah, what's up with that? All my internal pages are updated, but not the homepage. Is that how Google usually does it?

 

Maybe it is time to show you those google backlinks that I promised to get for you. Did you noticed that all of them but 3 showed up. And I would guess that the other 3 are there, but google will not let me go pass 790 results for deepmarket.com

 

I have not seen that, but feel free to pass me the crow or hat or whatever I need to eat!

 

still my inner page ranks changing. but why main page still same with old?

 

I have the same for my techtagg.com. I am not sure what is going on. My inner pages changed yesterday (well I only checked yesterday) and nothing for main page. I am not sure if we should be worried.

 

Since this thread was started, I still haven't seen page rank changed on my site.

 

I wouldn't be worried. Google's Webmaster Tools still tells me that on my site my highest Page Rank is my homepage, but it's still showing as zero. They just haven't updated homepages yet, for whatever reason.

 

Exactly the same happening to my forum. I think it will need a few days to stop vibrating.

 

Hm, I think the changes just take a week or so, just be patient.

 

Right I think we just have to wait for the dust to settle for a while. Hopefully it will leave some of us smiling.

This is beginning to look like yet another half-assed and botched attempt at a PR update by the infamous ones hahaha

 

I second that, only 1 site out of xx amount of mine have begun to show pr on datacenters, sort it out G

 

None of my sites show any updates yet, so obviously things are taking a little time.

 

I had two sites move up. One from a PR2 to a PR3 and a PR0 to a PR1... The first time I saw it was today though.

 

Hehe, don't worry - I'm still waiting for changes on about 25 of 30 sites

 

Same here - Internal pages have started changing and index on another site - Seems to be a bit all over the place right now. Give it a few days..

 

My directory that I've started somewhere around august last year has PR2 in 8 datacenters. So.. something's happening.

 

how come i still see no move is like 12 sites?
