    westhaven, I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about. If you are talking about the wallpapers on most of the sites then yes they are a feed from another site.

    i would suggest you to get those wallpaper hosted on your site only since they are free to use with no copyrights at all :)

    The wallpapers are a free content service from the website designer.

    He hosts the wallpapers and provides as script to customize the page to fit your site. In return, he runs adsense ads on the display pages.

    I agree, and I beleive most of the traffic on fansites, does see pictures, and the moment they click on the thumbnail, your visitor is gone.

    On the other hand, from the viewpoint of the actually wallpapers site owner, providing this service, it's indeed a GREAT move.
