iWebTools Predicted Google PR - Opinions?

Is the predicted Google Page Rank as displayed by iWebTools worth anything? In two previous updates it has claimed above 80% accuracy predicting the next PR but when updates settle down my PR has not budged. Wonder if anyone else has any faith in this. As I see the new threads today about Google datacenter updates for some folks I start hoping to see the jump that iWebTool says I should expect.

Pagerank prediction uses current pagerank & the number of backlinks from MSN or Yahoo, right ? ... quite hard to trust it :/

the predictive tool is just to make you happier and make you wanna work harder for your site. It is also a good place to cheat newbies: I see severals wanna sell site in Buy and sell section claiming (Predicted PR5 etc).

All PR prediction tools are, at best, a guess. It is a waste of time to use any of them - and they almost always guess on the high side.

PR prediction tool isn't accurate for so many years now. PR prediction tool of iwebtool can be measured through common sense though but still it isn't accurate.

While I understand that a lot of people are sceptical as to whether the iWebTool PR prediction tool is accurate or not (even me) - I can say that it hasn't been wrong once with me yet. I'm also looking forward to my next PR update, if iWebTool's calculations are correct I can look forward to a couple of PR6's. I'm still optimistic.

It predicted PR4 with 90% + accuracy for my blog. Its still PR 0. I think iwebtool is just a toy to make ppl happy.

Please don't use PR predictions as anything other than a novelty -- people selling links on sites with predicted PR based on that predicted PR is just silly...

Why do you care for PR? Just concentrate on SEO techniques to get more visitors. You'll automatically get a decent PR.

Well Im going to play devils advocate (in comparison to the other posts) and say I really like it. So far iwebtool and rustybrick? have been accurate in determining pageranks for my domains +/- 1PR. Very hellpful, and I visit the sites multiple times per week.

I just wouldn't worry about it, you'll know in a couple days and in that time period you won't change anything you do so why fret over the validity of a predictor?

There is no fretting or worrying or panic or sales pitch based on predictive tools - just a curiosity in other folks' experiences.

Meh...... It's ok. It once predicted my site as a PR6, the site got a PR4. Sometimes it will work dead on. You won't find a tool that is 100% accurate.
