To buy or not to buy
    That is the question..

Should we buy traffic, where should we di this?
What are the advantages and disadvanyages of such an action.

I found a resource that sells traffic from expired domains. It is made by redirect from expired domain to your website. I wonder if redirecting from expired domain influencing negatively on the website itself?

Any more ideas of traffic purchasing?

Depends on how much you want to spend? You can go adwords, adbrite, advertise your site in different affiliate programs, pay per click, cpm advertising.

I would not buy traffic per say. I would spend the money advertising your site on adwords, other sites, etc. You may get less "hit" but the quality will be much higher.

spend money on something to gain/earn traffic like drig said, if you want to buy raw traffic you will always get short changed... a good site that will give you some traffic is exitexchange.com but other than that its all marketing and advertising.

I saw a site once that shows the PR of expired domain names (that are for resale).. the problem with it though was that a lot of the sites had "fake" pr.. just for the purpose of selling the site.

From 20 to 50$ monthly. May be it's not such a big money. I just wanted to try, cause I never did it before.

I'm sure that my main efforts shoud be directed to advertising like AdWords, Yahoo, MSN and so on and so force.

If you dont have an account, purchase some vouchers in the "vouchers" section. $50 might be able to take you to $250+. Good luck.

I fully agree with about the quality of such traffic. But may be 20$ is not a big sum for 10000 visitors per month.. :)

It really depends on what site it is. Just think of when you get a redirect. Some people may end up just saying huh what is this.....this isnt what I'm looking for. It may have an negative impact on your site as well. If you need any help myspace related let me know.

    Hi Pavlovskyy,

I believe buying traffic will not last long. It will certainly increase your visitors, but the sudden rise may put the SEs in doubt, which is not good for a site.

Rather I would prefer link-building or link-buying with other similar websites or in a similar category – may be at first you will find the pace slow but once your link base is up, there will be a consistent flow of genuine visitors.

Btw, try to strictly keep away buying any auto-surf or similar type of hits program. I am sure these programs would be of help to generate a single sale.

    What about that opinion?

How did it affected on the SE attitude to your site?

Don't buy traffic. Go to where the traffic is and divert some of it to where you want it to go.

Another words go to the sites with good traffic and set there your advertising.. )

Yes , I think I make a decision not to buy traffic.

Making a conlusion I want to mention the reasons of why I decided not to buy traffic. (Hope this will help others)

    1. Search engines will not understand the reasons of such a growth of traffic per one day and it can affect negatively on your raiting.

    2. The traffic is not target as they say, because this traffic for example is generated from the expired domain with the help of redirect. (what will your reaction when you go to one address and switch to another)

    3. It's not a constant result. If you stop paying traffic will gone away. Advertising and step by step attracting vivsitors and convertion them to clients is the way to the future success.

If you have addings, you are welcome.

Any other good traffic buying websites out there? I really just want to buy the cheapest packages this site offers but it says "SOLD OUT".

My reason? I want to run a case study to see how effective this method of advertising is on the growth of a new website, unindexed website.

There is a good quality traffic provider that gives you a nice boost in quality traffic for a monthly payment. More you pay, more you get. I forgot its name...

Sure you didn't. :) I said it was my conclusion based on different opinions (and one of them yours) and own thinking.

If it's so cool, why everybody pay for advertisment, adwords, banner network, link exchange, if you can have 100,000 of visitors daily.. ?

WHo has experience in this tell us more detailed about this. PLEASE!
