The Ashes start on the 23rd. The next few months are going to be great for cricket fans with the Ashes and then the world cup. Its mouthwatering prospect.

The second innings was much better and hopefully England will put up an improved show in the next test.:)

True. But at the end of the day, to win Test matches you need a good bowling attack. It seems England is relying too much on Flintoff to do everything.

England are missing their key players , they could not get the aussies all out in both their innings , that speaks for their bowling.Dont have much hope for them.Hope they prove me wrong

Just felt like giving this a bump :) Let's hope it's at least competitive.

England lose a brilliant chance to take control of the test after Panesar and Harmison did their bit with the ball.
Aus 119-1 ..Wickets should fall thick and fast:p

I think the current series has highlight how over rated the english cricket team were. As an aussie cricket fan I was hoping for an aussie win obviously, but i at least expected england to be competative. 5-nil was an absolute pounding. After watching last night 20-20 game it looks like the violation of the english team is continuing. Lucky australia batted first!

Australia were too powerful and big hitting compared to the English in the 20-20 game. It was awsome dispaly of power hitting from Gilchrist, Symond and White, as well a few of the others.

The only guy that didn't really contribute with the bat was Clarke and he'd probably be too preoccupied with Lara Bingle!
