I signed up as well, as all 18 year olds are required to do, but they have yet to call me...its called an "all volunteer army" for a reason.

Notice the "R"'s there... Several congress members have relatives like niece's and nephews serving as well.

In fact, if you totaled up all the family members of members of congress and divided by the number of congressmen their are, and then totaled up all active military members in the US and divided by the total US population, you would find that a much higher percentage of people in Washington have members of their family serving than do the entire US population.

Are you truly mentally retarded? I never said he flew over Vietnam. He was in fact in the service during that war however. Thousands of people who served never actually ended up in or over Vietnam. Not everyone in the service is currently serving in Iraq, nor will everyone in the service serve in Iraq. Hell, my dad spent most of his time in GTMO and Gaum in the service, that and in Washington DC shooting rubber bullets at disrespectful pecker heads like yourself. He's still a Vietnam vet.
