My sites are beginning to have issues on my vps. When I log into virtuozzo I se this under Resources -> extended

numproc	227	n/a	240	pcs	Number of processes and kernel-level threads allowed for VPS
    Code (markup):
This has a big red bar over it.

    What should I do?

You may ask your VPS provider to increase the limit, for this they may ask for an upgrade. If you have enough traffic, better move to dedicated server, so you don't have this type of limits.

There is a HUGE price point jump between a VPS and a managed dedicated server!

    What is this anyway?

Not always. You can find dedicated server from $50 onwards. Dedicated server performance will be much better compared to VPS.

This is the process limit. No matter how huge your memory or space is, this limit will bring it down :)
