    Dear All

I have a big site (really big one with thousands of pages) and it has reached
pr 4. Now I have 3 more sites with pr 3 each.

Since I use php CMS's for all sites, it is very easy to put a link in the template of the site to the other sites and viceversa.

That is I can cause all pages of the pr3 site (many of the internal pages are pr3 and pr2) to link to the other 3 pr3 sites and inturn have each of the other pr3 sites to link to eachother.

will it increase a chance of increasing my page rank?

Right now I link none of my sites to one another.
Can anyone suggest How I can use the fact that I have 4 sites with pr4 and pr3 ?

    thank you all in advance,
    prasad..

if they are hosted on same hosting account, i will suggest not to link them with each other because then google will know all are from one site(same IP)..and your link will not have any benefit.. if your sites are hosted on different IPs, then you can easily link them each other...

i would only inter-link the sites if they are related in some way.

if they are related or of interest to that site's viewers I don't see why you wouldn't link them. rather than have your audience wonder off into the www you could keep them on your block to click your ads or buy your stuff.

page rank wise I guess google could just not count the links if they though they were yours.

I have the same thing setup, multiple subdomain and all linking to each other under the same ip. Result, main page pr4 and the rest are pr3. I guest the linking didnt help as Google knows they are from the same ip.

Actually I have a new term for U. - 'Owner Proflies'

It is no longer good enough to simply have Geo Diverse Class C IPs. Google purchased a regisrar some time ago and is now in the game.. meaning they also look at registrar (whois) info as well as IPs for creating an 'owner profile'

Both Google and YaH discussed this at PubCon Vegas
