Very cool. I have a problem though, I usually spill water and/or milk on my keyboard at least once a month and that particular keyboard looks kind of expensive/non spill resistant. However, I love the Photoshop layout it shows though.

an LCD screen to do what a bit of paint or engraving can do? Makes sense to me :)

yeah, buts it really cool...I would love it when you open a program and the keys change to match the program...give it a few years, it will 9.99$ at walmart.

Thats a great idea, and it looks really cool! Like all new technology, give it a year and it will be outdated and on the "blue light special" rack. :)

That's pretty sweet! However, I think it would be cheaper to buy a touch screen LCD (saw a used touch screen computer terminal locally for $300, should've picked it up) and then just put a grid on it, then write a program for it to display keys and transmit them over serial or something to your actual computer.

That would be pretty cool...you know you can pick those things up cheaper from restaurant that is closing...redo the programming and there you have it.
