Oh, I forgot we are occupying for the long term. We are actually taking over Iraq and never leaving. We will keep the people as slaves. And randomly bomb buses and cars to make sure they stay in line. Then we will start crying that they are keeping us down and won't let us live peacefully and bomb them some more.

Ferret, we need a new word for long term occupation vs short term, that way you might understand what is going on.

But, if you wanted to look at it rationally, you would see it as helping a country.

    don't cry...

sometime sending a small group of special forces people to organize the locals is lot cheaper and more efficient then invading and occupying, trying to get a grip on whatever natural resources are there

saddam hussein is gone and now there is this guy

I'm sure he will be a big improvement

    ferret:

How can you be so confused?

That's like comparing Adolf Hitler with Charles Manson.

All were/are bad people. However, Adolph and Saddam were national leaders, while Charlie and Muqata are leaders of nothing but criminal death squads.

Attempting to equate them in the manner that you have is just silliness.

Yes, Special Operations does have it's place in warfare, but that place seldom includes overturning governments. This is for two reasons:
    1. Technical -- it doesn't usually work
    2. Legal -- assassinating political leaders is illegal

You mean the fact that you are brainwashed have have not a clue of what is going on...

You have established that fact already, no need to keep embarrassing yourself long term man, you should pick a different forum, like how to design a website or something, you are no good at politics.

    Not for long

Everyone seems to think that Iraq is the size of Delaware. If it were that easy ferry, we would have done it, don't you think?

    I thought Dick Cheney was.

No, but you do with AC-130 Gun Ships!

You guys are real brave, like a couple of cheerleaders, too bad you are such cowards like Cheney and Bush who support sending little girls and Mexicans to the front lines instead of coward Republicans and their children!

Get off your rear ends and join the Army guys, Bush is running out of idiots as we speak, you are needed.

That's completely silly. Fire is often the absolute best choice for fighting fire.

Did you not know that backburning was an effective technique for controlling wildfires?

Do you have any idea how oil rig fires are put out?

    Please, think before you post.

Halliburton has job openings in Oil Field Services or Engineering and Construction.

Sorry, not my skill set. But, if you would like to seach and find me a good position, I'd be happy to go. I've volunteered for both Afghanistan and Iraq, but I have yet to be selected.
