I have always gotten 1 dollar per conversion for firefox referals. But last 2 days I only have gotten 50 cents for each. Whats up with that? Is smartpricing affecting referal units too now?? And if so why, considering payment its based on actual c onversions and not clicks
I've got 10 cents, 15 cents, 25 cents, and 1 dollar from ff referals. I think it depends on the country of the user that click and install it.
I have got $0.1, $0.25 $.5 and $1 referrals. The reason for the difference in pricing is nothing more than the location of the person who d/l the referred product. I am pretty sure that this info is somewhere on the website - something about being paid up to $1 per referral.
Btw is it allowed to say "Click the button below to download" when it comes to referal buttons? F.ex I have a short information box about the google pack and what it includes etc, and then on bottom in the box I have put a referal button, but is it ok if I add this text too above the button?
Check this post at Google regarding recommending and drawing attention to referrals: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=43870&topic=8972 You should be ok. .
That is fine. You are promoting their product, not misleading your visitors to click. Your ad is just fine
