Well, considering this war was not about oil at all, I wonder what you think?

USA has 5,000,000 barrel /day in domestic production, the rest is imported from south America and actually is not dependent on middle east oil. There has been no increase in production cost in USA for oil because of war, so the extra price is direct profit for American oil companies. Start a war, push the price up and confiscate the wealth from American middle class and working class and give it to the rich who own the oil companies. Why do you think it is so expensive to buy a president by paying for their campaign, it is a profitable investment. ;)

Has nothing to do with what your buds in Iraq continue to do to Iraqis on a daily basis. Makes one wonder why you want the terrorists to take over in Iraq. Did an Iraqi do something bad to you in your life?

you see freedom is going to take root in Iraq and then it will spread like a wild fire across the middle east , arabs and jews will stop fighting, the saudi family will step down and have elections , soon it will be like one big disney land

What about the fact that we haven't built a refinery in 20 years?? does that come into play? We need to open up alaska and quit appeasing the stupid environmentalist. Its nothing up there but ice anyway.

You think anyone with common sense falls for the crap you post now days, at least make a decent effort at presenting fact, truth and reality!

If we are winning the war, why do we need another 50,000 troops and another 100 Billion dollars GTech?

Why did Bush fire the Generals running the war to put in two new Yes Men (Halliburton shills)

We are waiting for your explanation (Republican Propaganda Smokescreen) GTech!

It is not only the refinery problem, domestic oil production in USA is not profitable at $20 /barrel and that was the reason many of oil reserves were not used. The war provided the excuse to push up the price and make the domestic production extremely profitable. Having control over Iraq oil fields and possibly other countries in middle east also can provide a control over the future production in order to secure a high price for the oil. You can not explain this war, if you assume that US government is working for the people or country, the pieces of the puzzle only fit if you open your eye and see that this is a government of special interest groups. ;)

More bullshit from GTech to make a vain attempt at covering for the Nixon Gang (Halliburton)....

Supply and demand my ass GTech, when you start a major war in the oil fields it is natural for traders to price in risk and possible delivery crisis's in!

Your "we" is different from my "we." I don't support the same people you do. Your buds are losing over there! They have been. You will not be able to claim victory in their name.

gworld never has been fond of the Iraqi people. For some reason, he's always wanted the US to pull out so terrorists can take over. Unfortunately, he won't get that wish.

There is no shortage of oil, so the price is not controlled by supply and demand. The normal price according to supply and demand principal was around $20/barrel which was the price before the war. The new price is the result of uncertainty in the market because of the war. Who started the war and caused the rise in price? Bush and friends. Who makes money and profit from the price increase with at least $250,000,000 /day? Bush and friends. ;)
