Hello,

I am selling www.turbocheat.com. It provides cheats for video games on systems from Gameboy to XBOX 360. I have programmed the site entirely by myself.

The site is written in PHP (w/ a MySQL backend) and uses Apache (mod rewrite) for search engine friendly URLS.

The domain is registered at godaddy.com for 1 year for a free push to the new owner.

Traffic is negligible at this point. I am selling because I dont know how to promote this type of site (I run mostly free web hosting sites).

well am also intersted that script, how its working on back end!

 

In the backend you can add cheats (with a system drop down, and a text input box for the game (with uses ajax so its auto complete). For example if you Selected PS2 and in the game box, typed in Air, you would see 'AirBlade' and 'AirForce Delta Strike', which you could click on either game title and it would fill out the rest of the text box, or you could just continue to type it out. (This is very much like gmails auto-fill when youre typing out someones email address).

You can also remove and edit cheats. If the winning bidder would like a few more features added, I may be able to accomodate them (no huge changes or anything though, please).


Pammer: Yes the domain is new; not banned. I was working on this extensively on my development domain, and just recently transferred it over to a real, live site. However, another project of mine is sinking terribly and I'm forced to sell this site to recoup some of my losses.

Traffic is very low at this point, about 20 uniques a day. I have put textlinks from my other sites to turbocheat to help drive some traffic. I can leave these text links up for a month if the new buyer would like.


As far as the backend. There are only 3 php files that show content, index.php, games.php (Which shows a listing of all a consoles games), and game.php (which shows all of a games cheats).

Each of the pages queries a MySQL database to get all of the info, for eample if somone goes to 'http://turbocheat.com/ps2', games.php is called and it queries the databse for all the ps2 games and lists them.

Yes the updater script spiders the internet for cheats and adds them to the database.
