MSRS Site | Monthly Revenue: $170 | 1,000 u/d | Asking 1.5k-2k

    URL: http://myspacebunny.com
    Pagerank: 3, predicted 4

    Expenses:
The site runs on Greg's MSRS script which costs $297. I am talking to Greg about getting access for the new owner to the exclusive myspace resource forum myspacepros.com (there is a very helpful and worthwhile MSRS owner only section). I spent alot of time initially on changing the design and scouring various forums for MSRS layouts. The site is completely updated with all MSRS updates and has various other content added.

All Statistics Associated With the Site: http://imagenesismedia.com/Sale/

This months revenue is so far 38.56 as of 1/6. If it continue at the same pace, the revenue for the entire month is going to be $199.22. Granted its a pretty generous estimation but it is the math nonetheless. (31 days/6 days = 5.1, 5.1 * 38.56 = 199.22).

I know this is speculative, but I am pretty sure that my adsense account has been smartpriced. I am going to test this out as I have a second adsense account and I'll report back.

All traffic is natural. %50 of the traffic comes form search engines, mainly google.

    Reason for sale:
I'm selling all my smaller site as i haven't been able to work on them due to laziness. I havent advertised this site in months or worked on it in any other way. I have a big project I am working on (social network) so I need money for advertising for that. Any other question? Let me know. Thanks!

Please start out bids from $1k. BIN: $2k.

    Current Offer: $1200

    Hello

Could you say what additions you have made to the script in terms of layout and content?

    Thanks

    Graphical/Site Updates
    • Changed the header.
    • Changed the background (and I needed to change the rounded corners for this)
    • Added the ipod advertisement thing.
    • Change fonts
    • Added the news announcements which in reality are CPA advertisements. (this section can also be replaced with a CPI banner from Fastclick or w/e).
    • I was going to add a myspace adder program (like FriendFleet) but that never got off the ground. That's what the grey login area is on the index page.
    • Updated a YPN ad integration module (there was one, but it had images next to the ads and I change this to a diffirent version with decent CTR but no YPN violations)
    • Changed the banner under any content to a CPA banner as opposed to the original Adsense
    • Layout Module Added

    Content Updates
    • Added MSRS Layout Module and Layouts (it didnt come with the version 1.0 of MSRS)
    • Additional Layouts Added (Bought)
    • All Contact Tables Added
    • All Cursors Added

I probably added more content somewhere I just don't remember what came with the original MRSR and what I added in terms of the small things.

There are the updates I could think of as I browsed through the site just now, but I'm sure there are more. I made the updates months ago so I don't remember all of them. I can assure you though that I did extensive coding work as I wanted the site to look great. Also regarded the FriendFleet applicaiton thing and the iPod advertisement, I can easily remove those or the new owner can actually do the iPod promotion. Thanks for looking.

I should note that there is a major v2 MSRS update coming very soon as Greg posted an update on myspacepros.com recently. I don't know if the price will go up for the script but it's a posibility.

Grrr, you see what I mean? My site has way more impressions than yours but much lsmaller revenue. It sucks having a smartpriced account. Its good for the next owner because smartpricing is based on account not on site, meaning that the next owner will have much bigger revenue than me.

SMartpricing is when google arbitrarily reduces the ammount they pay per click for your account. This is rumored to happen when they flag your account for bad traffic or other reasons. I'm pretty sure it happened on my account for my other site devilsarcade.com. In anycase, it is on an account basis so you are safe.

To learn more, I suggest your search the Google Adsense forum on this site for the term "smartprice".

    Please give me refferer stats.

Also are you aware that having images next to adsense is forbidden now? Also Having ads mimic the menu like the ones in the grid are also forbidden.

MSRS owners were forced to remove the grid and images next to ads as well in order not to get banned by google.

So basically cpm rate would be less than what you are predicting.

CTR tends to go up when the ads are off color. This has been thoroughly discussed and observed on the myspacepros forums. I will try to dig up this thread and quote it here.

In anycase, I have not yet received any letters from Google and my site has been evaluated and found to be in compliance so I don't see any problem at the moment.

The referrer stats can be found here:

    http://imagenesismedia.com/Sale/analyticsGoogle.jpg

50% of the traffic is from google.

Both scriptloft the 1700 offer and tbohen the 1600 withdrew (gotta love digitalpoint and it's time wasting antics). Still waiting on offers.

How about you answer my post from the 11th pal?

I withdraw my offer because tbohen never made $1,600 offer, the funny thing is that imagenesis showed me a screenshot that tbohen made an offer on Jan 11th via PM, but the post is Jan 9th.
