To assist all DP Members in tracking Directory Sales we want to build an Index of all known Directory Sales

This will then as the Index builds up, become the easy reference Index to enable Directory Owners or Buyers to track Directory Sales Transactions

    Example

    Directory Name
    eWebdirectory - Electronic Web Directory
    URL
    http://www.ewebdirectory.net/
    DP Thread
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=212964
    Seller
    smub
    Buyer
    onlinedude
    Price
    450USD

We want this to become the reference Thread
    For
    Directory Sales Index

This Index is for Directories Only

    Thanks :)

When a Directory is sold we want it posted in this thread so that we can track all the Directories that have been sold

So for example if the Directory is to be sold on DP then the Sales Thread will be categorized in

    Sites
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=52
If you are buying or selling an entire site, this is the place to do it. This is for domains with content (not just domains).

Then upon completion of the Sale post the
    Directory Sales Transaction
here as we want to build a
    Directory (Only) Sales Index

Thanks you can PM me anytime if you want more info or post here

ROFL... yea, im really worried about the IRS reading this thread. duh!

Sorry Pete, Don't want to take away from your thread ;)
Anywho... I cant believe that directory sold for 450. But then again, I can see the relation to naming conventions that CReed likes.

Personally, I think it's up to the buyer and seller to disclose this information.

Unless you are confident they are o.k. with it, i wouldn't post anything, especially if it was a private sale.

No not a rule we are just fellow members like you, we don't make rules;)

The thread was started to become an easy reference point to refer to in respect to Directories that have been sold

Of course it is optional as to whether the sales information is posted on this Thread.

But we hope this Thread will build up an Index of recent Directories that have been sold

This will then as the Index builds up, become the easy reference Index to enable Directory Owners or Buyers to track Directory Sales Transactions

    Thanks

I think there should be another thread to evaluate the directories worth

Another Thread has been started to evaluate the worth of Directories here is the link:-

All folks interested in Directory Valuation post your comments on the Thread please Thanks :)
