I know only of paypal, but what are the other Payment Processing options available to Indian e-business owners?

I have heard Paypal is a big pain becuase of the 'cheques' not reaching on time and they holding all the rights in terms of payments.

I am using Paypal currently, but would like to switch to a more hasslefree system.

People keep saying that if you are an indian buyer, get some friend from america to add his Bank Account to paypal and then he can transfer the money to india. But wont this have effect on his personal income tax?

    Any advice?

2CO and Moneybookers are good options as they both are accepted worldwide. Paypal is also good (not bad) and is most widely used.

You can also use e-gold, but it's a bit of a hassle, since you have to use a 3rd party service to convert e-gold into normal currency.

Stick with Paypal if you can live with its geographical limitations. Once you'll try other options you will probably change your mind about Paypal being "a big pain".

2CO can be a amazing too with its security policies that are exagerated sometimes. According to them, I am only allowed to use my UK debit card within the UK. Tried it a few times from abroad and my payments got rejected because of my IP pointing to a US location, while my bank address was in the UK..

    Thanks guys.

What about remit2india / wallet365 . Is the service good or bad? It transfers funds directly to Indian banks? Is it reliable? Any complaints?
