I would like to announce the newly free WebMixture Directory.

Webmixture was a paid directory until today, as we would like to offer free services to webmasters.

If you have paid for a link in the past, all links have been UPGRADED to Featured Listings.

Some IMPORTANT Guidelines:

• Title MUST BE website Name
• Descriptions must be a description of the site. That means do not put pricing, offers, or any other advertising in the description.
• Minimum Description Length is 250 Characters.
• No deep links period.
• If you don't follow these simple rules, your link will not be approved.

Nick, your submit page is giving off errors. The capcha is correct and I tried submitting 4 times now, and every time it tells me the capcha is invalid. (capcha is 4 characters and clear to read, so I know it's not a type O)

Also, after that inavlid code response happens, it then kills the category to which I was trying to submit (web directories) and throws out a 'Please select a category!' and I have to resurf back into the directory.

 

My problem is the same as anOn's..Shame too..beautiful site..

Finally managed to send ComputerLinks.org. I had to write a new description composed of 300 characters lol

 

Good call on requiring 250 characters minimum, if you get complaints ignore them. This way of doing it will have your content standing far above the dribble.

I submitted bestdirs.com. I was having a hard time writing a 500 word description at first. I'm glad I noticed the 250 minimum in your post

A unique site description should be a requirement for all serious directories. I personally re-write every description for sites that submit to bestdirs.com.
