I am from Baroda. But man this was the longest wait I had saw in past 12 months. Don't know why maybe christmas? Who knows.
Yes nick it is due to christmas and also now cheque dispatch from singapoor. New destination. Hope paypal fix thier service soon.
Thats great, I will go to post office today and will check if its there. I am hoping to receive it soon. THank you nick for your update.
Not yet. i ll do that on monday. I ll will let you know when i ll get it encashed. Mean while i ll appreciate if anyone who encashed their paypal cheque post the fees...
The cheques are always account payee. And there is no fees at all involved in it. You get the exact amount of the money written on the cheque into your account.
That is awesome. BTW, doesnt Paypal have this quick delivery thing within 10 days by paying 15 $ for it?
For Indian it is very bad. First of all, we have to wait for 30-40 days for receiving check, then wait another 4-5 days for encashing it. Paypal sucks but we have no other option. Through moneybookers we can withdraw money via bank transfer in our account and it takes 4-5 days only. But MB is not so prevelant.
Yeah.. Regarding moneyBooker.. i suppose its cost around $20-$30 to withdraw through bankwire using Swift. am i right??
As far as i know Moneybookers charge around 103 to 106 INR for direct deposit in your bank account (online transfer).
Yes its around 106 rupees only. By check it is around 205 rupees. I opened an account with MB recently only, so have no idea regarding that. The answer lies with honey or Amit_patel3001 only.
so what? Does that mean it should cost more? Nope There is no charge for online transfer, while the company has to pay for postage and so its costly.
Yes, it is. Paypal always charges $5 which is around 222 INR. I have signed at moneybookers recently.
I have a slightly off-topic question: does anyone here in India who has received the check recently have a business paypal account? (not premier) If yes, who is the beneficiary on the check? The business name or the human being's name, or both? Also, is the human being's name mentioned anywhere in the check at all.
PP issued the cheque on 17th Dec and I got it today .. 6th Jan. Pretty kewl huh ? This was my first cheque from PP
