I'll just start with the first one... Debunking the rest is a waste of time given the first one is so silly, I just wet my pants. "iranchamber"... Hmmm Anyway, looks like another site with that famous picture of Rumsfeld again. I like the caption: "Donald Rumsfeld -Reagan's Envoy- provided Iraq with chemical & biological weapons" You can make just about anything up on the net these days. At least they got the year the photo was taken correct. I'm not doing the work for you this time.. Just google it, you will find a transcript of the entire conversation including a youtube video from where this still picture was taken. Thank you for sharing this. It gives me and some other people here some insight into just what it is that has got you convinced of these wild and crazy stories. You make me feel glad that I am an independent thinker. I will never take that for granted. NEVER. The Iran Chamber. Ferret, remember these are the same people that think the holocaust did not happen. The same people that would like to see every Jew and Israel whipped of the face of the earth. I know you are a little slow, but come on, are you saying you agree with such sick and barbaric ideologies?
The bill didn't punish saddam, it punished Americans who at the time were doing buisness with Iraq. The bill would have done nothing to prevent saddam from continuing his killing and only served to hurt Americans.
What it would have done is further the (suck the life out of the American economy) philosophy that Carter strove so hard to create. How soon we forget the oil crisis... Wait, I guess guys like ferret were not around then. I remember dad walking a mile with a gas can. You think prices are high now, sheesh....
Yeah, it's amazing that ferret's bud commits mass murder and yet he wants to make the US out as the evil one. Backwards thinking minds that believe good is bad and bad is good. Blame America first!
i said the websites were hokey and you have to look up indivdual events, i just grabbed the url because it had a timeline here is a timeline of our relations with Iraq http://www.casi.org.uk/info/usdocs/usiraq80s90s.html feel free to look up some of the info yourself your ignorant if you think we didn't sell arms and support saddam while he was killing his people in masses
do you mean the people who were helping to arm and keep saddam in power? oh ok, so if someone can make a buck of his killing his own people, the Us better get in on it. so essentially you are saying that saddam killing his own people then was no biggie, but now 20 years later we should invade?
The reason we invaded (or one of the reasons) was that Saddam possessed WMD's. Those have been found, numerous times. Saddam killing his own people was another reason.
more fantasy , the only thing found were some degraded inert munitions you should try the gtech "they got wisked away to syria" routinue it much more plausible
And... A good portion of the Iraqi Airforce's fighter jets and bombs buried in the desert. I could go on.
Here's my opinion on this. While the munitions had varying deadly cabilities,...chemical weapons in general have to be distributed in a very complex way to kill a lot of people. Saddam himself had his troops work out how he could effectively use it on his own people....experiments if you wish to call it. It wasn't simple. Now if a terrorist used really weapons like this in the states, they would require missiles or forms of technology to create mass death. I, myself, am a bit more concerned about nucleur facilites and ports. Those two things have more significance in damage to both the economy and health. Of coarse we should try to tie all lose ends, but in proportion to the actual threat.

Actually this article has a pretty cool breakdown of what companies sold what to Iraq http://www.laweekly.com/news/news/made-in-the-usa-part-iii-the-dishonor-roll/2889/ http://www.laweekly.com/news/news/made-in-the-usa-part-iii-us-company-listings-a-m/2888/#DUPONT lol, dupont was still selling them stuff for their nuke program after the kurds where gased
Previously covered here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=1032142&postcount=37 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=1780525&postcount=42 No one was making a buck off your buddy's killing. He was doing it on his own. Blame America first! Apparently it is no biggie to you at all. You continue to defend him and give him aid and comfort by giving his credit to your country. There is a word that comes to mind for that... What other brutal terrorist dictators do you admire?
Gee, look at the top three on that list.. No surprise. Seems they are the same three that were against the war. Strange, well Ironic anyway.
Sure it is. Anthony. The #2 link on your own search is a Wikipedia article that fully supports it . Try harder on those google searches or Nixon will come git ya!
