    Hi,

If multiple domains point to one single site, will it hurt the original website's ranking?

    Regards,

To the best of my knowledge it won't hurt if you use a 301 redirect.

no redirects, they are just pointing to the same directory that is serving the main site

Why don't you just make a simple site on the domains, and make backlinks?

Or if its for business, make a sort of mirror, and if a user presses order, they get redirected to the main site?

Thats what a friend of mine does, and it works very well.

All the domains are new and pointing to same directory of the main site. What I wanna know is doing this will hurt the ranking of the main site?

they could if the engines are getting duplicate versions. 301 redirect would avoid that.

    Good answer.

Park them and then permanent redirect to the main site.

yes it will hurt as the search engine will read and index the same content with diferent urls. I've had this problem before and Aredirect fixed that...after a few months my traffic returned.
