I really like Mac's and PC's. The problem with a Mac is the price difference, you can get so much more for your money $2500 you spend on a MAc would get you a killer PC, but Mac has great support, Apple Care rocks so what do you do?

How about starting a donation scheme where WE get to decide what computer you should buy. :D

My Mac didn't crash (I sold it).
    My XP PC doesn't crash.
My Atari ST doesn't crash :p

Hey, if you can convince me what laptop is the best to go with, I'll do that.

How about an old Commodore 64... Its ugly, loud, crashes, and is not compatible with anything... ohh wait, you wanted something that works. My friend has one of the new Macs, and runs XP perfectly. He was very happy with the investment.

I have an iBook G4 and it works flawlessly. Prior to that I had a iBook G3. Both of these were the 14" version btw. Prior to that I had a PB 1400.

All worked perfectly. In fact I managed to sell the old PB1400 a year ago for $250. Not bad IMO for the age.

My company has had several PowerBooks, iBook Clam shells, iBook white 12" and 14" both G3's and G4's and we have had only a few problems out of several units.

1 bad HD. Was able to recover the data with Data Rescue II and replaced the drive myself. One bad screen, Apple Replaced. One bad combo drive, replaced under a recall.

Outside of that, all have been nearly flawless.
