I've just started using it again (along with www.stumblexchange.com), but it too early to tell. I'm sure I heard people say that traffic isn't terribly well targeted.

For my websites, stumbleupon sucks. Traffic which brings nothing with itself.

When i first got stumbled several months ago, it brought a large amount of traffic for a few days, then it died-down. I think the CTR was very low, so no real earnings.
Recently I've started using it again, but I havn't noticed any traffic even after being added by several more people..

I've had fair success with StumbleUpon, but a state above, not very well targeted for adsense or affiliates, but it does bring some exposure.

I've got one new site that hasn't been promoted anywhere at all but would appear to have been stumbledupon. Ive been getting around 700+ unique visitors per day with ZERO adsense clicks coming from them so earnings is obviously nil.

However, I have noted a few other sites popping up in my referrer logs so it seems like some stumblers are linking to me which is a definite plus point :)

well i am waiting for the traffic to come from stumble. i think most of the people are quiet old members of stumble.com and thats why they are getting traffic. i am looking forward for the person who has just opened a account in stumble.com and is getting good traffic.

The amount of stumblers one gets is sort of related to the amount of friends a stumbleupon profile has.
That is: assuming no one else will thumb up your site. In my case I think I just speed up the process a bit - I found stumbleupon because it showed up in my referrer logs in the first place.
Still, the pages I thumbed up when I still didn't have that many stumble-friends usually didn't get that many visitors from stumbleupon.

Things like stumbleupon exchange are bound to either not work, or spoil stumbling for the rest of us.

I think its impt to put out your best content when you're stumbled .. so people will bkmark your site and come back afterwards. They'll eventually convert into ad clicking visitors so no point worrying about the quality of SU traffic..

Yep, but luck is all it matters so the more page loads from a site registered in stumbleupon, the more traffic will it get.

i am using stumbleupon for my blog...it gave lots of traffic before but now its not giving me that much...now i'm still updating my blog as i only created it december last year...IMO it'll not gave that much of quality traffic...but still depends on your site as people with accounts there will bookmark your site if your site give them something like knowledge, fun, etc.

stumble upon in my experience was bad for adsense, but good for traffic. best bet is to set a "stumble" link to a page on your site without ads, and good content---ie jokes, video--something worthwhile....And then have a big link to where you want them to go. this has worked much better for me...

I got an unsolicited stumble upon. It feels pretty good that someone would take their time to recomend your site. I have not made much money from it but I have recieved decent traffic.

I get so many stumble hits across all my sites I can't keep track of it all. That as well as having a limited statcounter account.

Let's just say it is pretty good. I'd like to find out how many convert into clicks though.

    Col :)

It's logic to think that SU drives a lot of traffic, and I wish I could confirm that but unfortunately, that kind of social sites doesn't work for non-english websites.
