How Much Have You Made Since You Joined The Ad Revenue From DP?

A big fat zero. Of course, I only figured out how to set this thing up last week!

 

$0 from adsense here but the things I've learned from reading threads here over the past month are worth much more....btw since I have an adsense account; I'm very reluctant to click any adsense ads anywhere on the 'net. Paranoid I guess...

 

I supposed that was what happened for most people. 99% down..

Posting a thread itself does not help with the clicks... but if the ads are relevant to the topic and readers are attracted to the ads, then the chances of clicks are higher..

Once you've added your Adsense code to the forum, ads with your pub-id show up 50% of the time on the threads you post. They also show up when people view your posts in single-post view, but that hardly ever happens so you may as well forget about it.

So if you want to make any money from rev sharing, you have to be the one to begin discussions. And then you have to hope that someone will click on these ads. But that hardly ever happens either, since this is a webmaster forum and we are more ad-blind than most.

What i do instead is go to there site (by clicking on there name) and then doing it that way. Seems that is what some do for me.

I made it a normal channel. I guess you can make it a URL channel, sure. It would have to be: forums.digitalpoint.com

I think only the people who often start threads (instead of reply, like I usually do) will make any money at all.

 

I think you totally misunderstood this thread.
DP gives people a chance at getting some of the revenue the owner makes, by adding your adsense code in your user CP. As is clear from this thread, most people don't make any money that way, but still.
