Is Jesus God? IMO no. He is the manifestation of God though..

These guys drive me nuts, but it's an interesting read: http://watchtower.org/e/ti/article_02.htm

My understanding has always been that there is "God", then Jesus (God in Human Form) and The Holy Ghost, "God" in spirit.

Don't be so down on yourself nokiaking, not everyone can grasp such concepts. You'll get there.

Don't worry i'm not down on myself! Thats true not everyone can grasp the meaning of something which is a load of rubbish.

If what you are saying- "My understanding has always been that there is "God", then Jesus (God in Human Form) and The Holy Ghost, "God" in spirit." then that makes perfect sense to me, Its only confusing when you then start refering to Jesus as the Son of God because you said that Jesus is God in Human Form- if you get what I mean

In the Catholic religion the Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

It is 3 in one sort of thing.

    Wikipedia explains it well IMHO.

Thats very well but HOW can Jesus be the Son of God and God be the Father of Jesus, But simultaneously Jesus can also be God- Meaning he can also be his own father!:D

I know, it doesn't make sense. That's the kind of thing that happens when you're God.

So you believe something which makes no sense?
No God wasn't the one who said or implied he was the father and Jesus wasn't the one who said he was the son or god. It was followers of christianity who made that up.:)

As soon as creating the entire universe out of nothing makes sense to you, go ahead and explain it to me.

Don't see how this is relevant..........
But yeah God made the universe out of nothing because he is God and nothing is impossible for him.

Yep, I get what you mean perfectly. You have a predisposition to believing this is a "load of rubbish", so why bother talking about it anymore?

    Thanks!

I am just interested to find out the logic behind this thinking, is that a crime?

The thing is when people are unable to argue their point logically, they decide to stop talking about it and refuse to answer any other questions.
Follow-up questions are common, so don’t bring up anything you aren’t willing to discuss in more depth – it could prove embarrassing if you are unable to follow through. If you really don’t know the answer to a question, say so. It is better to be honest than waffle:)

    VS

There, you answered your own question. Or did you mean nothing was impossible for him except that?

What is impossible and for whom?
No, I don't think that answers the question. If you believed that Jesus is the son of God and God is the father of Jesus, then that makes perfect sense and i can understand where you are coming from.
Its just when you then say that Jesus is God in human form that things begin to get complicated. Why blindly accept something when you know it doesn't make perfect sense, if it does make sense then please explain how? If you don't know the answer then just say so, don't waffle.

How does God creating the universe compare to that triangle involving Jesus and God anyway?

Why is it okay to not understand how the universe came about but not okay to not understand how God could take on a human form?

If nothing is impossible for God then why can't he take on human form?

He can take on human form i'm not saying thats wrong, He might take human form and be Jesus- Thats not the point.

The question is HOW if jesus is the son of god, and god is the father of jesus, then how can jesus be god? Shouldn't he be the son of god?, Is he is own son or is he is own father?

I never mentioned the fact that God can't take human form.:)

    What are you on about:confused:

Mohammed does not punish God, God will punish who he likes and when he likes, Why would God want to take human form?, Do you not regard Jesus as a prophet in christianity?

If a prophet gets his 'prophetic' message from God, why would I consider Jesus a prophet?

Jesus is where more than any prophet.

Sorry, but my question was regarding Christianity as a whole- not just you:rolleyes:

Where does a prophet have to get his 'prophetic' message from for you to consider him a prophet?

How is Jesus more than any prophet? Are there any prophets?- so whom is Jesus 'where' more than?
