That was why yesterday i was saying the true meaning of the Quran can only be found in Arabic- Pick up any Arabic quran, they will all be the same, exactly the same as they were when it was first revealed to muhammed. Shame the same can not be said for these english translations.

Abrogation has everything to do with it. That's why I, unlike you, provided a source. It was previously discussed here as well. mo's interpretation of "allah" changed many times. Where you wish to point out verses from the early days (the time frame is important), sura 9 abrogates those verses as it was one of the last suras offered by mo before his "tomb was filled."
