By the way were you satisfied with the verses of the Quran which show that murder and killing is not accepted?

The Quran says: God forbids you not, with regards to those who fight you not for [your] faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them; for God loves those who are just. (Quran, 60:8)

Are you going to edit your post back? It said "corruption in the land" when I read it first.

That's not what chapter 5 v 31 says. And you ommited an important part of the verse you did quote. In fact, you edited it out after I asked about it.

What you originally quoted said "corruption in the land"

Now, what does "mischief in the land" mean? Is apostasy considered michief in the land? Does the Koran explicitly say that apostasy is NOT mischief in the land?

Where did you get your version of the verse from? If you cannot supply the exact location that you got your version from (link to it) then I'm going to assume you're lying to us all about what the Koran says because I have no reason to believe otherwise. If you did edit the verse then admit to it.

How would you convince a terrorist that corruption in the land does not include apostasy? Using only the Koran. Chapters and verses.

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...t+tell+them+that+what+they+are+doing+is+good"

Nothing comes up when I search for the version of the verse you quoted. Not surprising since I copied the corruption portion from your post.

See how your translation is completly different from mine- even without the mischief bit.
I wouldn't say apostasy is considered as mischief!!

It is considered a great sin though, and no, no one has been ordered to kill apostates

    * "But those who reject Faith after they accepted it, and then go on adding to their defiance of Faith,- never will their repentance be accepted; for they are those who have (of set purpose) gone astray. As to those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- never would be accepted from any such as much gold as the earth contains, though they should offer it for ransom. For such is (in store) a penalty grievous, and they will find no helpers." 3:90-91

    * "Those who believe, then reject faith, then believe (again) and (again) reject faith, and go on increasing in unbelief,- Allah will not forgive them nor guide them on the way." 4:137

    * "A section of the People of the Book say: "Believe in the morning what is revealed to the believers, but reject it at the end of the day; perchance they may (themselves) Turn back... " 3:72

    * "Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief,- except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty. This because they love the life of this world better than the Hereafter... Without doubt, in the Hereafter they will perish." 16:106-109

Since you can't supply the source of your version of the verse I'm going to just ignore you now.

Obviously you can't be trusted to be honest with us.

How can I tell how different my version is if you're lying about what your version says?

Nobody cares what you say. What does the Koran say?

Now why do you think in Islamic countries apostates are put to death for mischief in the land? And why do you think terrorists show no mercy to unbelievers? Because Allah doesn't. It's all in the Koran.

When one fails to be able to debate on a particular topic they resort to personal insults- How immature!

I told you what the quran says about it ( take note to read posts)

Right The Quran says murdering is wrong and so is apostasy, So how can murdering because of apostasy be right? Allah does as allah pleases, Allah will not murder these apostases so why do the people? the answer is that There are some specific verses that are very often "snipped" out of context, either by those trying to malign the faith, or by misguided Extremist Muslims themselves who wish to justify their aggressive tactics.

I believe this thread was about a Norwegian professor's opinion that Norwegian women raped by Muslim men, are responsible for being raped.

If you can't provide the source of your verse then you are lying to us.

If you lied to us then you are a liar.

It's simple to show that you aren't lying. Provide the source.

And what is considered "mischief in the land" according to the Koran?

The source of my verse is the Quran- Go read it.

Just because the quote i gave was not the full quote but a summarised version doesn't make me a liar!, But then again if you don't want to debate with me anymore but still want to emerge the winner, you'd try anything.........

You claimed you didn't edit your post. Which isn't true. I didn't know anything about the corruption part until I read your post. You also had the wrong verse number which is when I caught your edit.

And by editing that part out you completely changed the verse.

Now, what actions consistitute mischief that would warrent the death penalty? I wouldn't want to follow the Koran and live under Islamic rule and then find out that stepping on the grass is considered mischief and that I could be rightfully put to death.

And people who don't bother to verify what they're being told. Show of hands, how many people knew that nokiaking's verse was edited? Kind of hard when there's no indication that it was edited and then he denies it.

I've had the same problem. No sources. His answer? "because I say so."

He's already demonstrated that in the presence of overwhelming information to refute his dishonest claims, he will resort to denial, then projectionism of that denial on others.

He's not interested in providing sources, as he knows any number of people here would refute them.

    al taqiyya!
