Hello all. Today I am brokering a site for a friend.
The site is www . share reactor . com and you have proabably used it at one time or another. The site had popularity which rivaled that of suprnova and torrentspy in its day.

SR is considered by all to be the founder of filesharing sites. Sites like torrentspy, piratebay, suprnova, etc.. all credit and know that SR was the one that started it all.

The site is old.. Very old. The current owner has done bare minimum monetizing of the site (I believe it does less than 5-10$ a day) so there is alot of room to improve. The serps for the site are amazing, and it comes in #1 for almost everything it wants. I believe it has a custom system for maximum seo as well.

The site was down from 2004-2 month ago, because the previous owner was hosting files directly on the site (which is illegal) and he never bothered to bring it back up again. As the site stands at this point, its perfectly legal. There are 100k members on the forums and over 250k on the homepage. The forums currently have 500k posts, but before the site was shutdown in 04, it had over 4 million posts.

over all this is a great site for someone who wants to pick up a big-boards listed site (the 27th big board ever, mind you- thats how old this is) for a fraction of the cost.

Revenue Details:

As far as work, I believe everything is community maintained.

 

Also, this site is perfectly legal? Maybe in countries like Ghana and Sweden, but not anywhere else in the world.

Lokitorrent Hosted TORRENT TRACKERS. This site is nothing more than a forum with a homepage for displaying news, posted from the forum. Go find me a filesharing forum that got shutdown, which didnt host files, and didnt have links to files. Caz all sr has is a forum, and HASHES of links.

The value of this site is never to be underestimated.

The site is well-worth over 10K IMHO.

This is hardly trolling.

First of all, if somebody wanted to buy a P2P site, then the posts I or somebody else may have made are hardly going to have an impact on their decision - they know what they are buying, they know the sites that have gotten sued, they probably know it all. However, if somebody wants to buy an actual legitimate forum, these posts can help out quite a bit.

Your claim that somehow there is a difference between providing links to eDonkey like ShareReactor does now and providing links to .torrent files like Surpnova did when it comes to interpreting the law about providing means of downloading illegal material, or that somehow providing links to illegal shit at all is somehow legal, is, quite frankly, idiotic.

Also, you're saying "go back to your proxy and arcade empire" that is supposedly worthless, and at the same time you're selling a site that provides links to illegal porn? That's the second LOL from me in this thread.

ill give you a starting bid of $300..the reason being is there are alot of bad comments on the site about admins,mods and owners screwing ppl over(check around the site)also,really the value is compromised by the trademark,piracy and cp protection issues
