So at a rate of 750 US casualties per year times 20 years we are at 15,000 total. Yeah, I'm not math genius but something looks a little off there in your calculations ferret.

I would be willing to bet more people die in the US per year of violent crimes than do in Iraq or all US military deaths combined. If you put things into perspective it is probably safer to live in Bagdad than East LA or Detroit.

are you retarded? why would only US deaths count

somewhere around 1000 people are killed a month, thats 240,000 in 20 years, assuming the death rate doesn't actually accerlerate

Do the saddam numbers count the Iran, Iraq war? where does the 400,000 children number come from?

There you go calling Iraqis idiots. You don't support iraqis, you don't support the troops, you don't support America. But never a bad word for the terrorists there. What a coincidence.

It is more important how people live than that they die.

Right now I would rather that the world sufferred three billion casualties than that the forces of civilization were defeated and that the planet descended into cultural darkness.

No, but I am fairly confident you are. You completely missed my point.

Still does not quite hit that million mark does it. I don't knows bout's you alls, but's I's a thinkin' dat the death total is a goin' down.

Does that help.... I thought you said things were worse than with Saddam. Thanx sport for making my point for me.

Did you even read the source I provided? No, wait, don't answer that question. You did not, or else you would not be asking this question.

Coming from a person asking a question to something I already provided the answer to. Please read first. Could you at least extend that much of a courtesy to people that are attempting to help you?

So I'm guessing you're a bit more practical (in your own way).

Luckily the media wasn't as 'evolved' as it is today. I'm sure to some degree you understand that the media (especially with today's standards) would shine a far different perspective on that time. IMO...killing or murdering people is immoral (period), and thus war in itself is a chose to be immoral. People can chose the boundaries, but I think we did what was needed.

I remember remarking this to yo-yo and he was having a heart-attack with all the civilians that died. He thought it was wildly immoral. And while I agree with his emotions and subjective morals...I know that's how wars are won. It doesn't pay to be too nice of a guy in war.

    Good, you're being honest.

If I was assured that region wouldn't become a bigger problem in the near future, (thus requiring our presence again)....I wouldn't have any problem with letting Bush face his peers in 'consequence'.

If the democrats could lead us into that sort of standard, then I would definitely find a level comfort in doing what you wish. I understand the problem with the logistics on that one, being Bush leads the military for the better part....and that one shouldn't coincide the other ie ideally one should be held responsible devoid of circumstance. Although my mind-set is that we have to have a decesive direction that works, and we have to ensure that this doesn't boil over completely.

I'm not sure booting a few people out will resolve the issue completely...and may worsing it.

I think the cost was alot more than 3000 US soldiers, but I guess you only care about your own.
