Actually "Bonzour" means "Hello" in creole, a dialect in my country! I'm Yan from Mauritius, a small island in the Indian Ocean. I have been blogging for the past two months and I have learnt a lot from you guys. Actually I like the community bond between fellows here. I have reached my 1st $100 from google adsense on christmas and this has been possible largely to the invaluable and free information available here. So a big cheers to you guys and digital point! Keep up the good work!
Thnx guys! You are the best! No wonder Time voted YOU person of the year 2006! This the most valuable place for newbies like me to gain important information.
Congratulations on your adsense success Yan, good luck with your future endeavors and I'm sure being a member at DP will help
You guys speak Creole at Mauritius? Didn't knew that! I thought it was spoken in Caribbeans and other Latin American places close to Caribbeans. Bon Jour becomes Bonzour and yeah man becomes ya maaaaan! Cool
They speak Creole in certain parts of the Caribbeans and I thought Creole was spoken just in that part of the world but to my astonishment - it is also spoken in Mauritius - awesome. So when I visit Mauritius - I won't have much problem communicating
