Hello - Professional Blogging Work at Home Mom Here...

Hello from the wonderful midwest. Yep, I'm a real honest to goodness midwest farmer daughter turned blogging geek -- and I love every minute of it.

I have been a full-time work at home mom since 2000 and for three years, I was a single parent and the only support of my kids. Talk about inspiration to succeed, that was it!

Three years ago I married my high school sweetheart and FIRST boyfriend ever - 20 years later and couldn't be happier.

I write for and/or maintain 13 blogs and my most recent undertaking is teaching anyone out there who'd like to know how I do it, how I do it!

Being in the heart of the U.S. and where the auto industry used to thrive, I've been deeply moved by the loss of jobs and hope to tell anyone out there wanting to work from home - that if I can do it, anyone can do it.

Anyway, I could ramble on and on, but won't. I'm here to continue my own path of learning to earn via the internet as well as offer up a little help where I can.

I may not be an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but making over $4,000 per month for the last three months I believe qualifies me to answer a few questions here and there.

I hope I can learn from those who know more than me and pass on the wisdom I've learned in my personal journey to becoming a full time work at home mom. It's what I love to do!

I'm looking forward to hanging out here on Digital Point. It's obvious there's plenty of inspiration to be found

I've been enjoying all the reading this forum has to offer. In fact, I'm sending several bits of information to my brother.

It's amazing how blogging and earning via the net is a never ending learning process.

It's taken me a LONG time and several knee scrapes to get to $4,000 per month - and now that I've come this far, I aspire to become the next six figure blogger.

Would love to have some friends take that ride with me!

I'm such a girl. I enjoy having friends along, no matter what I'm doing.

Welcome "Stay at Home Mom" I love it. One of us has always been home for the kids!

 

I was a single mom of twin boys over 5 years - they were 4 when I divorced. I learned rather quickly that I wanted to be at home with them, taking care of them and molding the personalities they'd carry into adulthood.

I knew the only way I could do that was to find a way of working from home. I've been very blessed to have made a nice comfortable income that supports the kiddos and me.

Now that I'm remarried, it's nice to know that I am still self sufficient and am taking care of my kids - but still here for them - they're teenagers now, but still I don't know how I would care for them if I had to work outside the home.

I would LOVE to help other parents who want to be at home with their kids and families. The quality times I've had with my kids are priceless. It's a real gift that every parent should experience.

You've come to a good place, and you might consider blogging about parenting. There is a wealth of information here in the forums about members making a decent income off of selling advertisements to their blogs.

Using myself as an example, I just purchased a one-year link of a blog for some decent piece of coin.

 

I've already got my hands full of blogs - including a couple of parenting ones.

I'm looking into various options of advertising now - I think it's time to look into adwords, etc. A few of my sites are very well established and it's time to take them to the next level.

Thanks for the advice I'll be sure to consider that when I'm making my decisions in the near future

Glad to meet a fellow work at home mom. I'm not earning what you are except in my very best months, but I do all right. I have a 4 year old and a 22 month old, and they certainly keep trying to work interesting.

 

There's a link in my profile to my about page that lists most of my blogs and websites.

I honestly don't keep any secrets on what I earn *unless it's in a TOS* and I am always willing to help others when I can.
