Adsense Ads on emails

    Hi,

    Anybody seen adsense ads on emails. I have got an email recently with adsense ads as shown below:

    Anyone have ideas/comments about this

    Last time I checked, it wasn't allowed (for obvious reasons, MediaBot can't reach it).

    it is against the tos but it is possible to create an ad this way to paid per click. however, it is a adsense violation. than again, they may be testing this new feature out and only allowing a few publishers to utilize this while it is in beta.

    It's available via invite only....and doesn't work in a small mail client known as Outlook:)

    Then it probably wasn't a real Google ad, just a ploy to deceive and create trust. Google doesn't use .php extensions for its ad delivery AFAIK.

    probably are links to some mfa pages, and they managed to make them look like link units.
