Are blogs worth it? Can you get a lot of traffic to a blog?

I don't have much experience with them so i was just wondering? I would appreciate the help

 

I think the first thing you should try doing is using the search function.

This topic has been exhausted time and time again, so try doing a search first....

I don't understand the fascination with simply jumping on a bandwagon though. Why not research blogs and find out why one would be useful or fun or profitable for you before setting one up based on 3-4 sarcastic responses on a forum?

Blogs are as useful and you can make as much money from them as another website. A blog is simply a format.

 

Exactly, look at a blog as it is, a web site. There are so many blogs out there with so many topics out there that blogs are coming full circle back around into being classified as web sites. The only true blogs out there are the personal journal one.
