I was just wondering if anyone here has experience launching a blog for SEO. If so which one offers the best functionalities, has strong SEO plugins and shows up well in search engines?

Ive heard that MovableType and WordPress are quite good... any feedback ? Id appreciate the input! :)

I have both, and WordPress is best. MT tends to do worse, with more pages going supplemental than WordPress.

I believe Movable type also has a bunch of plugins. But I believe the development of Movable Type has already stopped. And if you want their better one, it is a paid service on Typepad.

Wordpress is free (but of course you still pay for your hosting) and has a very wide variety of plugins available.

For me it is wordpress too, all the way.
