I am a huge fan of both Dick Cheney, who you completely fail to understand.

Gerald Ford has always been OK in my book.

Richard Nixon was a very bad man. He was a Keynesian who implemented price controls in America, abandoned our allies in Vietnam, and made peace with the evil Chinese government.

Anthony, you have a lot to learn about government contracting.

Oh, and no, I don't care enough to read what stocks my mutual funds hold. That's the fund managers job -- that's what he gets paid for.

I agree. One of the thing a lot of people fail to realize about Haliburton is the fact that they were the ONLY one's that do a particular job. If you are not hiring them, who then are you supposed to hire?

Yeah, I need to go to some of those Republican parties like you do to garner some contracts like you do Will.

Do you golf with your congressmen too?

The Democrats believe that we should just draft people as forced labor. This is part of their anti-capitalist agenda. They don't believe that anyone should be paid for their efforts, because we are all property of the state in their eyes.

I've been to both. Usually as a guest of someone who likes to spend money on those things.

The best time I had actually was sitting next to a democrat senator in our state senate. Very nice women.

There is a lot of money to be made on the golf course. A golf outing landed us the largest North American matress manufacturer and their franchisees as a client.

Outside of that, most of the mingling I have done with state, local and federal politicians has been through either charity events, or Chamber of Commerce gatherings.

Hell, the UN is one of my larger clients... Go figure.

So Cheney sending little girls to the front lines to protect Halliburton Oil tankers is not drafting people Will, when Bush and Cheney (who are both cowards) send National Guard troops who are weekend warriors, poorly trained and equipped directly to the front lines (little girls) to fight a fraudulent war?

When you enlist, you pretty much do become "property of the state". Thank God, in America this is completely voluntary. No little girl I know is on the "front line". Some brave US Troops are though, and they are there because they CHOSE to be. Thank God for that!

As Henry Hazlitt said, "The 'private sector' of the economy is, in fact, the voluntary sector; and the 'public sector' is, in fact, the coercive sector."

Nah, I think there is a difference. The anti-capitalist is much more hell bent on leveling the playing field for all but themselves. Communists tend to consider everyone equal.
