Hey guys, Yesterday I saw some Myspace Resources site that displayed AdSense ads. Normally you would see an Ads by Google link on the bottom of the banner, but this time 'Google' was replaced by the Google favicon (). I thought the webmaster had hacked the script, until I saw this on two other sites. It's not everywhere, so I think they are still testing it. Are there other people who have spotted this?
I havent seen that one yet.. but one of my 250 x 250 square ads had a google logo (as a graphic) instead of the text! I checked back the next day and it was gone...
no I get this kind of ads now too sometimes ... no premier publisher hehe I like it with 200x200 unit ... It looks very good
I got it before and currently I am not a premium publisher. I think it is still part of the test being conducted by Google wherein they are changing the "Ads by Google" appearances
I don't care where you're wasting your time on but I personally find this an interesting development, for which I'd like to know the reason.
I have been seeing this on my websites also. It's been showing up on and off. Nothing really special about it.
These just pop up now and again and serve their purpose through making us talk about them...we're catching the virus of their viral advertising... In the right context the little graphics can look good.
I think they're just testing it out. I'm not so sure I would like to see more of it - the Google corporate colours rarely go well with the custom colour schemes I use. But the bottom line is, does it make any difference to revenue?
i'm pretty sure it's just a test...but i'll keep an eye on it to see if there's any cash in it! kumiko xo
