Some big players into COOP now

Though coop seems to be a near black hat SEO technique, I have seen some real results and some of industries top players into coop recently.

For example take moneyweb.co.uk ranking No 1 for 'loan' in google.co.uk . They seems to be having a very high coop weightage.

bentleys-estates.com ranking for many keywords in MSN and google is also another big player I have seen.

Recently I have also noticed nortonfinance.co.uk (A leading finance provider in UK) ads in coop

That says coop is really wonderfulllll.....

bentleys-estates.com is currently under construction and moneyweb shows no website configured under this address!., Is that what big players means to you?

Ranking that high on Google UK for the term "Loan" is extremely difficult. I would say thats a big player to me. Maybe they dont use google coop to get ranked that high but they still invested a ton of time and money.

I highly doubt on their investment.,

By, investment or high player i meant, Million dollar company.,

Just have a look at their sites.,

    for one site.,
moneyweb.co.uk , its not even working when you type the site like this:
    "moneyweb.co.uk"
No web site is configured at this address.

Obviously they need to sack the person who administers the server but they must be making £5,000 per day from that rank.

    not really
    $200-400/day maybe, but thats it
it's not really that profitable as some people think. And besides check backlinks.. only less than 1000 backlinks for moneyweb? :)

well coop is useful, like any other kind of links, but lets see how long can they keep the high rankings

$200 to $400 per day? I have sites that make $200 per day from MSN alone for keywords far less competitive than loans.

Well I guess I cant defend the income the site should make since its in the UK, but if it was on google.com then the site owner would be extremely wealthy.

But I would think still in the UK they should get very good traffic.

    not so well Optimised pages

has some 250 pages indexed... But only home page has google PR

So how could this Site Rank SO HIGH that too for the KW " LOAN "

Look for Personal Loan... These is no word Personal any where in Search result ...

Can any Experts say some thing ???

This search for the text they are using on ONE of their coop adverts brings up 19,100 results.

They must have some serious weight.

From my point of view, these are not big players. they are known only in their niches... Big players can be named companies known worldwide, by average Internet users: Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Adobe, Download.com, youtube, wikipedia, and so on...

Average Internet surfers surely did not hear of moneyweb.co.uk

moneyweb.co.uk is linked from the BBC website as a financial resource. That makes it a big player in the UK.
