one of the many reasons why google should keep adsense code ID as a tuple of owner+website name so that such incidences can be avoided :(

I am sure things will go in your favour,Pankaj. Cheers. Keep us updated.

There is no reason it should go against him! But, google never listens! I had a bitter experience with them only recently.

Westhaven, I hope it works out for you.

I do not know Indian laws, but in the United States, someone doing such actions could be sued and financially held accountable for the damage and your lost income, especially if they caused permanent ban from Google.

    It is called tortious interference.

There is a simple solution to this problem. Why Google has not thought of it is beyond me.

If there is no channel id, the site should be invalid.

I guess what I am saying is, the channel should be tied to the site URL. If the URL does not exist and or correspond to the channel ID listed in the adsesne code, then the site would not be validated.

Problem solved. Google, feel free to send consulting fees to via paypal!

Argh, sorry to hear about this!
I have heard about people abusing others ads by click bombs, but not by using their pub ID.
Best of luck with the outcome.

I don't understand this. There is an easy way of protecting your webpages from such thing. Strange Google havn't cared about doing it.

The way is to give the publisher two options:

*Let his/her adds be shown on all pages that want to. (Like it is now)
*Write a list with sites to allow, rest will not count as your adds, and will show thoose charity adds instead.

In this way, noone can place your adds on their webpage and abuse the TOS.

Google must have thought of it before, strange they havn't done it yet. But what do they care, their reputation is better the more people they ban from adsense. That makes people look at Google as a site clean from abusers.
