Big company bought a link on my site

Just thought it was funny that tbs.com bought a link of mine on a crappy blog for a show on ABC through text-link-ads. :)

They paid $40 a month for a link on a crappy site that gets 0 traffic. They may need to hire better people.

They probably have clueless marketers who think that text links are the 'new thing' although there can be worthless ones as well :p

Well do you have good pr and lots of backlinks?

Also .....is your content related.....they might just be doing seo....I would personally be thankful they are giving you money rather then bashing them...

If the site sucks so bad maybe you should remove it from text links......

Isn't it amazing how big companies spend money and don't even have a clue what they are doing? Circuit City has bought a couple from me. :)

Well it has PR. But the point is that the show aired for 1 season and will never air again.

Im not bashing them, just pointing out that they have people working for them that really dont know what they are doing.

Actually I just checked the price and its $45 a month. Not sure why they priced it like that but they did.

Heres the site, you can tell me if its worth $45 a month with no traffic.

Also I would have removed it from TLA but I forgot about it until they sold the link. I was actually just going to let that domain expire next month. Probably still will since its not worth anything.

Hmmmm, makes me wonder how many other worthless sites are on text-link-ads ???? Maybe I should start listing all mine at $40/month ;)

maybe your site is just part of a "bulk order" or so, like if they say "we spend 10.000 fo a link on 500 sites"?
maybe its just a small bonus for you, if they realize you dont bring any traffic they will drop the link :)
